Absolutley LOVE the goonies, always brings back feel good memories. I especially love Cindy Laupers track on it. Can't remember what its called but anytime I hear it, I just think... GOONIES!! :) Absolutely fantastic !!
Sorry to be perdantic but it's CYNDI Lauper (i'm a big fan so sorry) and the song was called 'Good Enough' You even see a clip of the video in the film while Brandon is doing his chest exercises.

hey Manchester lad when you say full uncut version ,, are the extra bits actually in the movie itself or are they just extra's on the DVD ?? cause this may give me cause to buy the DVD!

Great great movie.

Trivia: The guy that played Chuck used to perform the truffle-shuffle during time outs at his colleges football games apparently. :)

The Music is funny in the movie aswell. The part where chunk throws that candy bar to sloth and it hits him on the head, it makes me laugh the faces they both pull on that bit haha :D " Baby Rue Rue, Baby Rue" thats the name of the candy bar ;)

There are afew extra thing in the move that were never seen before, the rest are in the extras that are so cool to watch. You also on the dvd get a feature where the cast are talking about the movie as you watch it, you get to see the cast how they look now , as there all sat at a long table.
If you like the movie then the DVD is well worth getting :D

It's just got that special magic of many of the films of it's era, and being brought up on the goonies (watched it first on VHS rental) it will always be a special film to me.

The Goonies suffered for a very simple reason when it was first realsed, and that reason was because it was released at the same time as Back to the future (which was the first movie I went to see by myself!! Yup, I wanted to see it THAT bad!)

So yeah, at the time I was jumping up and down to Huey Lewis and the news playing air guitar, begging my parents for a skateboard... and a DeLorean! :D

As both films were produced by Mr Spielberg I always wonder who messed up on the release dates.

I love The Goonies - such a good film! I saw it on Five a year ago and was really surprised just how funny it still was.

I remember buying it for my then boyfrienRAB birthday (on VHS) about ten years ago, and it was definitely a PG then.

Chunk and Sloth are the best screen double act...ever!

'Captain Chunk!'

Oh man the goonies is like one of my favourite kiRAB movies EVER. I can never get tired of watching it. My favourites Data =P love love love this film.

The Goonies is on BBC 1 29th December at 10:45am . Even though i have this movie on DVD i know ill be watching even though it will probably have bits cut out but non the less still worth a watch if you dont have the dvd or have never seen this great classic movie before. ;) :D

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL ...........

I thought the goonies was a great film, and had me laughing like hell at some parts of It. That kid who had Invented loaRAB of stuff was an absolute classic, because I'm sure half of the stuff he had made just fell to peices. A right laugh though :D
