The Goonies

Aye maybe you're right, part of my love for it is certainly the memorys it brings back, that being said, even removing all sentiment it's still a far better movie than Alien vs Predator.

Think i'll put it on in bed tonight, seen the movie so many times now even if I close my eyes and just listen I can picture and know exactly what's going on.
 
Adverts. Yak. I have it on DVD and looove it. Tis an awesome childhood film!

It's not rated higher than it should be. It's a great film. Fair enough, it's not something which broke any boundaries but it's entertaining for kiRAB and adults alike.

What's good enough for you is good enough for me...
 
That's your opinion - which you're entitled to, of course, but I really don't think it's a fair or even true one. I only have fuzzy memories of the film from childhood, not enough that would have made me particularly nostalgic for it. I didn't truly "discover" it until I was into adulthood but it's one of my favourite films.
