After last week's lackluster ratings, ABC decides to premiere TWO new episodes of "The Goode Family" tonight. Rather than having two separate talkbacks, I'll just put both together.

"Pleatherheads"
Broadcast Order: Season 1, Episode 2
Production Order: Season 1, Episode 6

Writers: Dave Jeser & Matt Silverstein
Director: John Rice

"Goodes Gone Wild"
Broadcast Order: Season 1, Episode 3
Production Order: Season 1, Episode 2

Writer: Jordana Arkin
Director: John Rice

"Helen, you never slam the door when you're sober."

I guess she's somewhat of an alkie.

Bliss' little v-shape down there keeps distracting me. =P

Haha, I have actually heard of some parents transferring their kids to the inner city school so they're at the top of the grad class.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. Cotton's practically homocidal.

The animation style is like Beavis and Butt-Head and King of the Hill mixed together, but with brighter colors.

Eh. It was okay, but nothing special.

It was on par with last week's pilot, I suppose, but not too shabby. I guess Helen is this show's Peggy Hill, except more insane. And Ubantu's suddenly rage in the beginning I thought was funny.

Not to mention that ugly...thing that turns out to be an endangered species no one wants to save. And the way the dog ate all the squirrels at the college.

And...am I the only one who thinks of Captain K'Nuckles everytime Helen's dad speaks? Yeah yeah, same voice actor, but still...

I thought this was better than last week as it moved at a faster pace and wasnt all "lets make fun of liberals!" like last weeks was. I like how noone ever suspects the dog is eating animals.

Caught the last half of the second episode.

I actually laughed pretty heartily quite a few times. Mostly at how repulsive that creature was.
