The newest animated series from Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky premieres tonight on ABC at 9 PM Eastern. The series is about a "green" family who tries to live a politically correct lifestyle. Of course, hijinks ensue while trying to live this lifestyle. This marks the first time ABC has tried an animated series in primetime in a while. Will it be as successful as King of the Hill, or will it go the way of Sit Down, Shut Up? Only time will tell. Here is the synopsis:

I have to get used to this dad sounding like Mr. Van Driessen like I had to get used to Hank sounding like Mr. Anderson.

I thought that got better as it went along.

It definitely feels like the anti-King Of The Hill, tackling the extremists on the other end of the scale instead.

I'm not sure how it'll compare in the long run, but not bad for a pilot.

It was OK. I can't say I laughed too much. But in terms of new animated series, I had a better reaction to this than "Sit Down, Shut Up". So I'll keep watching.

"It's OK, the important thing is that you feel guilty about it."

I got a good chuckle out of that line. Definitely had that KOTH feel to it. The series has some potential from what I've seen, but I can't judge based on one episode alone. I await for more. But that poor, poor dog. Seriously meat deprived (sorta).

People griped before about how you can make ultra liberal types complex characters, but Mike Judge seems to be able to do so. They're both extreme versions of of the stereotype, but the two parents don't seem like one note characters...they have failings.

It was...better than I expected.

Started out slow, but it improved, and the second half was better, although getting Helen drunk felt a bit unnecessary.

How come Brian Doyle-Murray's character only appeared in the early and ending? It didn't seem right.

Could've been better, but otherwise a better start than Sit Down, Shut Up.

Hopefully this show would at least last a whole season.

And woo! Brian Doyle-Murray!
