The Goode Family canceled

Well, it was a good show to see (Though it was hard to catch). There was one character that did sound like K'nuckles. He seemed to be my favorite.

Shame. I only caught it a few times, but I seemed to like it more than King of the Hill. With KoTH, it took me a long time before I warmed up to it, but I only saw a couple of episodes of The Goode Family before warming up to it immediately. Even the animation seemed a bit more lively than KoTH.

But then again, that's what happens when you go to a station that's not even involved with animation to begin with to make a cartoon. Does anyone even know what the heck happened to Slacker Cats?

I thought that was a bit much too, even though I'm a vegetarian myself. Not the same as being a vegan, but you get my point, yes?

Anyway, it was probably just poking a little fun at the going green thing. Then again, I wouldn't expect a show with that theme to get very far.

Yeah, whatever that might be.

If that's what he chooses to do later on, then I wish him luck.

Dammit, Fox, show the guy some respect.

I'm thinking that if they released the thirteen TGF episodes on DVD as a complete series set, I might still get it. I'd especially welcome a complete set of King of the Hill though.

The goode Family to me wasn't much of a show to begin with. It just looked like King Of the hill all over again expect with hippies. If Judge is planning on doing anything with animation I hope its good as beavis and butthead. But to me this is like Judge is getting treated like Don Bluth for some reason.

I'm not surprised, I mean the channel and time kind of made the show slip by unnoticed. i knew of the show and only caught two episodes because i kept forgetting when it came on.

You know, cable is looking a LOT better these days.

Broadcast TV is seriously getting on my nerves. So many new shows I have enjoyed are cut short for more anemic "reality" show garbage. Even though I'm glad they aired the whole season, ABC still never aired a single commercial for The Goode Family ever since it moved to Fridays. Same as Fox with their mistreatment of Sit Down, Shut Up.

So, of course the show will get lower ratings because people still didn't know it was on! However, they made sure to put money in advertising Dating in the Dark, a stupid "reality show" with a premise so dumb, you'd think it's a parody.

(sighs) Well, I definitely enjoyed the show, and while it may be canceled from ABC, maybe another network could pick it up. Due to execs' dumb decisions, however, I won't hold my breath.

Well, I don't want to get your hopes up, but on The Goode Family's facebook page the creators indicate that they plan on relaunching the show on another network. But, I'd take what they say as a grain of salt. They also made a post about the show increasing in ratings last week, which is a bit ridiculous. I mean, the show's ratings went to horendous, to slightly less horrendous. Not really something to brag about. I mean, it gets lower ratings than both Surviving Suburbia and RERUNS of According to Jim.

I could see Fox picking it up. And the reason it got such crappy ratings because ABC basically pretended the show didn't exist except when airing it and constantly moving it.

Yeah, but from the ratings it looks like people turned on the TV on Friday to watch Surviving Suburbia, turned it off when the Goode Family came on, turned it back on when According to Jim came on, then turned it back off when the second episode of The Goode Family came on. That's pretty bad even for a show with no advertising. Granted, the entire Friday lineup did pretty bad, but to lose viewers regardless of the lead in can't really be dismissed.

NO, not Fox! Besides, along with killing Sit Down, Shut Up, even they are screwing over Mike Judge by not airing the final King of the Hill episode!

Plus, Fox canceled too many good shows, so that's not a good idea. Maybe Adult Swim or Comedy Central.

Is this the type of show that only get one season & few episodes like that "This Just In" on Spike Tv (Does anyone remeber This Just In, If you don't, Good)

Althoug I did like Sit Down, Shut Up & Freak Show better.
