As much as I love 'Slumdog Millionaire,' I want David Fincher to win for 'Benjamin Button.' He's one of my all time favorite directors and I think that he really deserves it
I hope so . Then again, I thought it was the best film this year which not everyone will agree with.
But considering that the film almost went to direct to DVD has already won so many awards and gotten recognition, that I wouldn't mind if it didn't win any Oscars. Plus, I think there is a good chance, The Curious Case of Ben Button could win something since it has not so far even though it was hyped to win all these awards.
She's NEVER won? How she didn't win an Oscar for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is beyond me!
I finally got around to seeing Milk this weekend & I'm not surprised that it wasn't recognized last night. It was not nearly as good as I had been led to believe. I did like Burn After Reading & was disappointed that wasn't recognized with an award.
I havent seen most of the movies that were nominated yet but I loved the fact that Kate won 2 awards, I missed her first speech cause I got up 10 minutes late but her second speech was great, she looked so excited I just couldnt help feeling happy for her, and ... Leo :thud: wow! they were so awesome
Im so happy Heath won too, the standing ovation was very nice of them.
Was it just me or were the hosts really random this year? :look:
Since I'm at work I can't watch it so I relied on updates via the internet. I really want to hear Kate's speech about Leo and Mickey Rourke's speech, which, according to articles, was something worthy to see
I am so glad that Heath won because I am such a TDK fan and he really gave his best in that film. i hope he'll also be nominated for the Oscars.
