The George Liquor Program

Does anyone know where I can find the episodes for this webtoon?

Edit:Oops, had no idea that word is a curse...oh well, it's part of the title.

I believe he is referring to The 'Gosh-Darn' George Liquor Show.

I've seen one episode, but it was hosted on some weird Flash site. It's one of Spumco's earliest Flash attempts. You'll have to do some digging.

^Wow... that was awful  Dunno what John was thinking with that one.

Maybe the later episodes are better but this (and the other clips I've seen of the show) do not appeal to me at all. Especially the horribly jerky and poppy animation (didn't John complain about exactly this sort of animation in "modern feature animation" on his blog?).

His Yogi Bear and Jetsons Flash toons are 10x better visually wise and they're pretty funny too. Search them up on YouTube.

Jetsons: The Best Son

Jetsons: Father and Son Day

Boo-Boo Runs Wild

Boo-Boo and The Man

Also, his Weird Al Video is probably the best thing he's ever done in an animation sense (WARNING- Contains Cartoon Nudity):

I don't like the fact that it's so crude but I can't help but watch in AWE that this thing was done in Flash.

Compare the Weird Al video and the George Liquor episode... you'll see a difference.

I have to agree, that was pretty bad. I know it's John K.'s style to have gross out or ridiculous humor, but sometimes he over does it to the point when it's just not funny. Adult Party Cartoon, anyone?

I enjoy toilet and dark humor here and there, and I love his animation style, but that was just crap.

Better than Stimpy's Invention, Space Madness and Sven Hoek? Uh uh, I don't see it. That was a chore to sit through. Just more of John K's uncomfortable, depraved nonsense.

And where's the cartoon nudity? There's a lot of suggestive stuff here (the man needs help) but no nudity.

Besides, should you have even posted those YouTube links? I thought there was a rule around here about that.

lol, notice I said from an animation sense.
I'm talking in terms of pure animation quality... not writing or animation.

I was comparing the animation to the George Liquor episode.
To me, the Weird Al video looks almost fully animated... and that's saying something for a Flash cartoon or even a John K cartoon.
I'm not a big fan of the video itself because of the erm... suggestive... content but it's done well from a technical standpoint.

I never saw Stimpy's Invention or Sven Hoek but Space Madness is probably the best cartoon he's ever done just from a writing standpoint. It's well written, it's well directed, and heck, it's even well animated for the budget it was on.

I am NOT a fan of John K. or his blog (I think a lot of his opinions are... complete BS). However, I think some of his stuff is worth looking at.

At the very beginning the girl is waving her bare butt around in the bathtub.
John K seems to have some kind of butt fetish  He does need help.

I forgot about the rule. I deleted the links.

Actually, you CAN post this because Al himself has it up; it's part of his YouTube account. I guess it's ultimately up to Delia but I can't see her disagreeing.

That episode is a perfect example of what can happen when an artist has no restrictions (see other thread regarding that topic). I've never understood why John K is so fixated on such an unpleasant, unfunny character. Sad.

Aren't shows suppose to have a plot.

Even if they don't stick with it, it should be there somewhere.

This is one of the things that make me not respect John K. and his opinions. I read his art tips, I learn from them, but when he insults every modern day cartoon and then pulls this out and is probably proud of himself, then it's like, trying to respect a heavy smoker who goes around preaching saying "Smoking is bad, don't do it."
