to start? We moved into our flat in November,it has a lovely big garden.It was completely overgrown(thigh high grass and vegetable beds just a tangle of weeds). There's been a lot of snow this winter and the long grass has been flattened, and the whole place just looks desperate now. I'm a complete novice...should I rake the grass before attempting to mow it? Best way to break up rootbound vegetable patch(i hope to try to grow some veg).What basic tools will I need? Maybe you know of a good book for complete gardening virgins?
