The Game ( 1997 ), - michael Douglas

Just seen this movie for the first time. While I understand what the game was about
( after reading the write ups and plot outline on imdb.com ) I think the game itself was crazy. the mental anguish Douglas went through was extreme. the scene when he was in the taxi and ended up in the water - it would have been so easy to of been killed, to me that isnt a game.

still quite a good film though

Got to agree with you. I enjoyed the the film but looking at the 'game' who in their right mind would think that up as a birthday prezzie?

I remember thinking, if that was my brother, he'd be dead - if I had'nt had a stroke/heart attack before the end of the game. Assuming I had'nt been killed during the 'game'!
