I've been reading that Cadillac will not build the full sized Cadillac XLS, to compete with the S-class, 7-series, LS, etc. I also read that they will still get rid of the STS/DTS and only have small sedans like the Cts. Is this true? What are they thinking?

Cadillac is a legacy brand name, and is essentially no competitor to the german marques. You have to consider that the quality of engineering and build in either MB or BMW is to a higher standard. The Caddy is also designed for US tastes: the styling will not generally appeal to those who would go down the BMW and MB path.

well im sure they are thinking the economy is crap and people are not buying gas eaters.. thats why ford and gm are having big problems they make a lot of gas eaters..

i been trying to sell my truck for over a years.. no one wants it.. and its a nice truck in perfect condition with a lift and big old tires and stuff like that.. a few years ago i could have sold this in a second...

i was even asking 8 grand for it and the book value is about 12 grand... one guy offerend me 6 grand for it.. that was the only call i have gotten..
