The funniest film you've ever seen?

Of those already mentioned that I can watch without ever getting fed up:

Monty Python's Life of Brian.......... (Michael Palin chained in the dungeon wishing he could be spat on by the guarRAB)

King Pin.............. (Woody Harrelson and Lynn Shye, as the landlady, has got to be one of the most disgusting. but hilarious one nighters of all time

The Wedding Crashers..........(loaRAB of scenes that I loved, but particularly when things couldn't get any worse, John (Owen Wilson) is invited to a funeral crash.

Dumb and Dumber.......(loved all the scenes on the way to Aspen)

My Cousin Vinny....(I love anything with Joe Pesci in it, and he proved in this that he really is hilarious as an authentic gangster. I loved him in 8 heaRAB in a Duffel Bag too, but that didn't get much acclaim)

Airplane
Planes, Trains and Automobiles (John Candy and Steve Martin)
Uncle Buck (John Candy (RIP) was set for comedy stardom)
Naked Gun (and most Steve Martin movies)
The Hangover
Borat
Baby's Day Out (Some hilarious slapstick comedy for its time)
Blazing Saddles
See No Evil Hear No Evil
National Lampoon's Xmas Vacation
Pink Panther (all of Peter Seller's series)
Laurel and Hardy (all the old original material)
The Three Stooges
The Marx Brothers (Duck Soup was classic)

I either haven't seen any of the others, or have seen them and thought they were ok. but have no desire to watch on a second go. :)

Austin Powers
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Superbad
Team America
Napoleon Dynamite
The Hangover
Zoolander
Wedding Crashers
Dodgeball

I was crying with Laughter at Superbad when I saw it at the cinema, but didn't find it as funny on repeat viewing.

Films that constantly make me laugh even on repeat viewings would be
White Chicks
Dodgeball
Wedding Crashers
40 Year Old Virgin.

All mature comedies I'm sure you'd agree.

I think Life of Brian's got to be the funniest.

More up to date, I thought The Hangover was great, I was belly laughing in the cinema.

The most unintentionally funny movie this year has to go to Twilight - New Moon. You have to laugh or you'd cry.

Totally agree, even the 12 year old girls at the back were laughing, I spat my drink out at one point!!

Young Frankenstein (All time fave)

Life of Brian
Holy Grail
Blazing Saddles
This is Spinal Tap
Lampoon's Vacation/European Vacation/Xmas Vacation

Love all the old 'Carry-On's too - especially Sid James' lecherous old man act.
Got them all on DVD :)

I don't know if it was deliberate or not, but the PE teacher in the background clearly doesn't manage to contain his mirth, and spenRAB a large part of the scene trying not to explode in a fit of laughter.

The Money Pit
Planes Trains & Automobiles
Ferris Beullars day off
Stir Crazy
Brewsters Millions
Batchelor Party

LoaRAB more - the 80's were the best for funny films

Funniest recent film I've seen is Step Brothers
