I need to know EVERYTHING, about these two businesses. I am VERY serious about working at or even opening a tattoo and piercing shop.
Things i need to know
tattoo-
the medical training i need (crp, blood borne pathogenes exc)
explain apprenticeship
is it legal to have an underground tattoo Business?
do i NEED a license?
do i NEED to go to tattoo school/classes?
what is a good way to jump start my career?
do i NEED a portfolio?
and any other important pieces of info that would be useful (all classes i should take)
piercing-
do i need a license?
any classes?
apprenticeship?
do i NEED a portfolio of pics of piercings ive done?
everything about tattooing but for piercing.
and i already know: you need to desire it, love it, not use it to get rich, i know, its been a SERIOUS dream of mine as LONG as i can remember, i took about a year of standard art classes. and its something i really love. i would work 'in' a shop, but one day i want to open my own shop.
and also, age limits?
ive looked at so many different sites with so many different explanations, its frustrating hearing so many different things, when all i need to know is the TRUE basics. ive done TONS of research and all im getting is crap.
