The Fourth Wall

I would consider the opening introductions of 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,' & 'She-Ra the Princess of Power' plus the 'moral of the story' scenes at the end, an obvious breaking of the fourth wall. I recall a scene in the 'MotU' episode: City beneath the Sea, where Man-at-Arms and Prince Adam were sent to investigate the mysterious disappearances of eternian ships at sea, while on board the ship, Adam looks at the camera, then winks and smiles.

At the end of a 'Thundercats' episode, the Thundercats were looking at the camera while a robotic camcorder appears right in front of them, snapping pictures of the viewers (I guess this is somewhat a brief 4th wall breakage)

I would also consider PBS's 'Arthur' cartoon where the title character talks to the viewers just before the the episode begins, to be a fourth wall breaker.

The Mask (from the cartoon based on the Jim Carrey film), Earthworm Jim and The Joker from BTAS have talked directly to the audience(us, the viewers) at at least one occasion.
I also think some of the monsters from The Real Ghostbusters did it to, but I can't remember which ones at the moment.

man, dora the explorer and blues clues break the fourth wall, literally in every episode. that just shows how lazy the writers can be, when they just rely on that.

Those shows are supposed to be interactive. I don?t see anything wrong with it. They ?converse? with the audience in order to engage the children watching the show.

How would you classify Drawn Together?

I mean, they're being put on a show in the show, but they're still talking to the audience.

I also remember a couple of occasions when American Dad broke the fourth wall:

1. Roger saying a vagina joke and everyone on the "set" pausing and throwing a small party and celebrating their "1000th Vagina Joke".

2. Klaus commenting about a movie, turning to the screen and saying "That's right America. Come get me."

That's all I can think of.

Almost every cartoon I watched had fourth wall breaking Even DCAU and Marvel shows had them at times. Althougth they are not easy it pick out as in comedy shows. Beast Wars had it too however there were times I didn`t like the jokes in BW. Garfield was the best at fourth wall brakeing.
