ok heres what happened.. i have a panasonic lumix fs62eb and the flash option has stopped working, it still takes videos and pictures and all the other functions work, so with it being under warranty took it back to currys, i thought that the bulb may have fused. when sent off they sent me an estimate report saying it would cost me 216 pound to get this fixed... the camera however was only 118! there saying there is a spillage and that the pc board/w component, flash pcb (n-l-a), sd fpc, lens unit and lcd unit need replacing due to this splillage!! i have argued with currys and they have gae me no option but to either pay, buy a new camera or complain to head off.. i am complaining! they can not give an engineer report to say why those parts need replacing when the camera works fine just not on flash. when you turn flash on a red symbol at the top flashes and it wont take a picture. i buy everything from currys and they screw me over every time. i shall not be buing from them any more!!! can anyone explain why those parts would need replacing or any legal requirements i could through back in there face!!!!!!! thanks
