The first outsourced "Peanuts" special?

A question for all those TZers who've religiously watched EVERY "Peanuts" special ever produced/made: Which one was the first to be outsourced?
Thanks.

I remember hearing they hired a few animators to do the recent specials. I don't think they ever outsourced the animation for the Peanuts specials. Not even the movies.

I think that the first outsourced Peanuts cartoons were episodes of "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show" that were produced in Spain and London. The first special that I've noticed wasn't all done in-house was "It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown".

I watched that last night. Animation was done by Cuckoo's Nest in Taiwan. So special wise, that could be the first one. Though there could have been one or two before that.
