I finally just snapped today in my Math A2 class.
Every time there is a test, I feel ready. I know that I am prepared. I know all the material, and I know how to solve it.
Whoever makes the tests in our school deserves to be raped, shot, then beaten with an aluminum bat. Not only do they not understand THE FUCKING principle of the Math A course, they blatantly ignore how the teachers educate you in your homework.
Before I go any further, let me just say one thing: I am a math genius. I can solve just about anything, if you give me the time and tools.
But, here are my grades in 9th grade, in Math A:
Q1: D Q2: F Q3: F Q4: D Q5 (Final Exam): F (Purposely bombed, why waste my time if I am not going to pass?)
In tenth grade so far:
Q1: D Q2: F Q3: In progress, about a C, but will drop with time
My grades in 8th grade:
Q1: B Q2:B+ Q3: A Q4: A
Today, I just snapped. The whole idea of the Math A course is to teach math according to how it can be used in the real world.
IN THE REAL WORLD, THE REAL LIFE DIMENSIONS OF MY BEDROOM ARE 12x13, NOT FUCKING 4x x 4x+1, LIKE THE RETARDED TEST CREATOR MAKES, WHICH GOES AGAINST WHAT NEW YORK STATE DESIGNED THE COURSE AROUND.
Today, I snapped. I just became so livid with anger that I broke out in tears, in front of the whole class, and I was frustrated as hell, and I kept telling my teacher the redundant algebra in the tests was CAUSING ME TO FAIL, as wel as numerous other kids.
I became so focused on the issue at hand that I forgot that the entire class was there, looking at me two minutes before the bell rang. And you know what? I still don't give a shit. I got it all out. Two fucking years of anger, misunderstanding, and hell all broke loose in four minutes, but it wasn't a violent tantrum. It was calm and collected (By a tantrums standards).
The whole root of the problem is New York state themselves...They set down no guidelines on how the course should be taught, which screwed over the entire student body.
Fucking assholes. The funny part is I am in the third highest ranked school district in New York State. Why can't these people rot in hell?
