The final fantasy film!!!

Ive allready seen an advanced copy of it and it is a must see for all, its just amaizing graphicly and for people who like anime must see it!!! has anyone else? coming to a cimema near you in january, i will be there!!!
 
I know! At the end, yeah although it was great to have all the cast back, it was just one long cutscene. Wasn't even that fabulous a story.

Suspension of disbelief is key methinks.
 
It was good, I was happy to see them all and some moments I thought were great, the ringtone was a nice touch.

Doesn't beat having another epic game to play through though...
 
Hmm... It wasn't actually an awful film. Thinking about it, they really just had to come up with some dire plot just for the sake of making the film. It was very weak wasn't it. And what a shame the other characters didn't get much of a part.

I was like, yeah this is good but it was just like they were showing off; teasing us with the old hype of FF VII. It just didn't feel right...
 
i heard they were making it targeting hardcore fans of the game. so i guess they didnt really care if more mainstream viewers didnt like it.
i didnt like the origanl. i dont like the games. meh
 
Agreed it wasnt a great film, but i still liked it seeing as they hardly ever mention anything in new games etc concerning the old FF's, so its still nice for it to bring back memories of one the the greatest playstation games.
Bring on FF VII Crisis Core!

square tend not to remake anything to do with games but as ffvii was the biggest one they made then i guess they thought they had to do it justice which they did
