The Fifth Element

TowarRAB the end I was rather hoping that Bruce would shoot Chris Tucker in the face for his hammy over-acting though.

Most people I know absolutely hate The Fifth Element, and when I first saw it I didn't think much of it but after a while it grew on me and is now one of my favourites, if it's on TV I watch it. It's just one of those films that never bore me, i can watch again and again and again etc

I love it, AND I find Chris Tucker to be really funny. He doesn't annoy me at all, although I know some people find him really irritating. A brilliant film. I have the standard edition, I wonder what's different in the SE edition?

It's not classic sci fi. It's not really sci fi at all. Die Hard in the future I can agree with. A light romp, enjoyable enough taken on those terms.

For 'proper' sci fi with Bruce Willis see: 12 Monkeys.
