Any other fans? they are so sickeningly sweet but I just adore them and Martin Short steals the show as Fraw-nk, he doesn't get anough credit for his acting actually.

Anyway I prefer Part 2 over the first film due to the hilarious scene with Frawnk driving them to the hospital after George overdoses on sleeping pills :)
 
I love these films - they are also my guilty pleasure films. So sweet and lovely! I also love that Dr Huang from Law & Order SVU is in part 2. :)
 
I don't think there was a film Steve Martin did after Part 2 that he was good in or the movie was a success.

I still can't believe that he did those two horrible Pink Panther movies.

His remake of "The Out of Towners" with Goldie Hawn was just hilarious I would definetly recommend it. John Cleese co stars and is just hilarious :)
 
The original FOTB (Spencer Tracy) and Out of Towners (Jack Lemmon) were far superior to Steve Martin - why?

Because SM seriously overacted and hammed it all up and almost made it slapstick.

The humour in the originals was due IMO to the hapless man having events overtake him,. Bit like Clockwise with John Cleese.
