The Family Guy Syndication Cuts List

Also, the scene with Tom and Diane trying to kill each other was cut.

A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas
  • When Brian uses the joke fire extinguisher, the "dammit, Peter" line is cut.
  • Bonnie, as the virgin Mary, saying "that's my story and I'm sticking to it" was cut.
That's all I can remember for now.

Not to mention the entire last minute ("From all of us at Family Guy...") I can't figure out that last one. It couldn't be for anything objectionable, and it couldn't be for time because they made so many cuts previously.

My memory also recalls a close-up of an ornament with Stewie's bare bottom reflected on it. If that was in the episode, it wasn't in this either.

Dammit, Janet! had no cuts I could find.

"Brian: Portrait of a Dog" is over, and there were no edits (then again, there wasn't much in this episode to edit).

Tomorrow: "Mind Over Murder" and "Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater".

Yeah, that whole "bang" scene made it seem like they said something a little more filthy.

I know we're nowhere near the episode, but when "PTV" airs in syndication, that's going to be a fun episode to talk about.

Especially the "Freakin' FCC" song to see if they're going to allow all the things the original Fox airing left intact that alluded to the things the FCC won't allow on TV.

Maybe they thought it was weird to air a scene featuring the characters directly addressing the audience and wishing them a happy holiday?

Yeah, that's from that episode.

Yes, that was in the episode. Interestingly, both this and the edit to the "virgin" line were edited out back in 2005 when Fox did a mini-marathon of reruns leading up to the resurrection of the show, even though they probably aired uncut back when they first premiered. Butts became more of an issue for the show, for some reason.

I remember that - and if those edits are still there in syndication, then I have a good idea of what else to expect. 3ACX13 "Road to Europe" was also part of one of those mini-marathons, and from what I recall, the scene at KISSfest with the Campbells had their butts blurred out.

The Thin White Line: I couldn't find anything, but they've updated the Viewer Discretion notice at the front of all episodes with "this may not be suitable for children under 14." This included the repeat that followed the episode.

Actually, there was:

*The Pillsbury Doughboy's line, "What the hell are you doing, you crazy b*tch?!" had the last word muted, though I thought that's how it was done since Poppin Fresh was getting rolled over with the rolling pin.

*Brian's magazine in prison "Barely Legal B*tches" was changed to "Barely Legal" (if you ask me, that's really not an improvement)

*Peter watching an episode of "Murder She Wrote" where a woman gets an abortion was cut to remove Peter calling the woman who got the abortion a "murderer".

Are different areas getting different edits? They cut out the 'I'm the Lord Jesus Christ' line here, but the "I Think I'll get drunk and beat up some midgets" and "I just plain don't like black people" that followed it were still intact.

You are wrong, sorta. The Presidental Whore House part with the sleazy pictures was shortened, but here's what else was cut:

*Peter's swearing tirade had the word "damn" removed.
*The sound of Brian urinating in the plants while singing "Money, Money, Money" was muted (though this may be debatable).

I figured instead of being blurred out, they'd have put a big black box over Brian's award.

There was a cut: Quagmire telling Peter he 'banged a black chick' while Peter has the phone in his stomach is missing.
