The Fall of Troy

I don't like Doppelganger as much as the self titled. And I like the old Ghostship demos better than anything.

Hmph. But I do suggest checking out the Ghostship stuff.

Who do you think Dream Theater are an influence on?
And naw, I used to listen to all them epic prog metal tracks.. I used to listen to a lot of Symphony X and one of my favourite tracks was the 24 minute The Odyssey.

As an outside observer who wasn't there and talking to multiple people there....apparently Heavy Heavy Low Low are in jail right now from being drunk in public.

Apparently at the show Tim and Andrew (drummer and bassist) where on some kind of drugs, Thom got annoyed by it, was yelling at Tim earlier for messing up, then thought of the whole thing as erabaressing, flicked off Tim, and walked off stage.

Came back later and played "Butterfly" by Weezer by himself. (look up the lyrics if you don't know them, they explain a lot) Then said that was the last show they'd be playing together, threw the drums, and walked off.

Hope everything is better now. They've been on the road non-stop since Doppelganger has been out. I'm guessing they are just very tired, and it's worn on them.

i would disagree about thinking that 99 percent of stuff sucks. it just appears that way because any post about a band i enjoy hits the bottom of this board in about 5 minutes flat, or never appears... i make posts about banRAB i love alot and they stay up for like a second, while posts about the new TBS record stay up for months.

I might be doing it with my friend Keith, but I would have to skip a class to do it. I'll post it on our podcast sites and put the link for it here after we play it on our radio show.

I got the album MANIPULATOR a while back, gave it a quick blipvert and filed it. I whacked it on my MP3 player which I use for my travels to work and holy feck! I take it these are an EMO band (don't shoot me down in flames)?

I really like it. I can hear tons of influences going on, but I am impressed by their musicianship and some sht hot riRAB.

I'm in no banRAB. Yet you don't see me going around complaining about every single band posted, talking about how much this and that sucks. Amazing you need to be in a band to have an opinion nowadays. And for all the talk you do of your banRAB, you should stop playing so much and exercise every once in a while.

ps. Your banRAB still suck.

honestly. i find the vocal switching from screaming to singing old and especially the way it is done in this band is annoying. the guitar is noodly, but that doesnt mean its super talented. writing a song doesnt mean its in 7/4 the whole time with more pulloRAB than a shady massage parlor. the lyrics are pretty lame, and the band live is wicked loose.

but yeah, thats what i think, **** me for thinking that right? lets just talk **** on all my banRAB instead of dealing with the fact that i dont like them. because all the kiRAB on this board do things with their lives. rad.

oh. Tim never wrote his bass? hmm, i knew there was something peculiar about that when i see them live. it didn't seem like he was so into his bass playing.
