The Fall of Troy

Downloading Manipulator right now. The Fall of Troy are pretty ****ing awesome. I wish I could play guitar like Thomas.

So we interviewed Andrew (the drummer) of FOT last week. Normally that would be up by now, but unfortunately he was ridiculously boring. I mean so boring to the point that it was erabarrassing to hear him answer stuff, which is depressing given how awesome Thomas is. When we interviewed Thomas we talked about Star Wars for 40 minutes, it was amazing. Anyway though, the Andrew interview may be up, but I wouldn't count on it.

I'm a Tim fanboy at heart, but I like how Frank's scream is way different than Tim's. Tim's sounded too much like Thomas. In my heart, Tim will always be the bassist in TFoT.

I try to go to purevolume or somewhere else to find any band that is listed, but if I don't care for them too much, instead of making a post about how bad they are, i just ignore it.

I've already posted in that thread. First page I believe.

The point is that hardcore is not influenced by metal, thus metalcore isn't that excessive of a subgenre. There wouldn't be metalcore (or crossover) if hardcore was already influenced by metal.

Just was pickin up Daisy by Brand New, and saw a new Fallatroy on the 'upcoming releases' board. I'll probably buy it, listen a few times then go back to Ghostship/ST
