The "F*ck That...This Rocks!!!" Thread

Yes, thank you and btw Captain Beefheart is what you get when you have a drunken homeless guy shouting random gibberish in front of a bunch of instruments being repeatedly smashed with mallets. ;)

You seriously pull a sad face at my opinion?when my last comment was left with a wink? I don't give a crap what you like to be fair and that's what the thread is about. Liking what we like and not caring. We both like stuff that may not be considered trendy- I do not really care and you should not too.

SATCH...Tom Tom Club classic. Awesome rhythm section.

I love this song. Natalie in that video mesmerises me every time I see it.
It makes me want to marry her...amongst other things.

Genesis - Misunderstanding

This one's not so much unfashionable to those who know and enjoy their earlier work...but in general Genesis is pretty unfashionable. But I love this song, and some of their other later stuff.

Right when he put his ear to the phone in that video my phone rang...
I would be lying if I said I wasn't half expecting a german guy with silver hair to yell "du hast" at me when I picked it up.

Yeah I like that one too, though not nearly as much. It does bring back memories.

Oh and to clarify...when I said I loved Misunderstanding "and some of their other later stuff", I was just referring to other unfashionable songs from this era...but I'm an unashamed fan of their earlier albums and don't consider that stuff unfashionable. ;)

Perennial coffee table/after dinner party fave Sade. I think she has a brilliant voice and that bassline just does something to me. Bloody brilliant.

Well I was 10 when this came out so I can't help but be reminded of carefree summers and scraped knees from falling off my bike.
