The End of Most Haunted...

Im looking forward to the new show Paranormal Investigation Live to see it can beat Most Haunted with the fakery and comedy..basically this new show may be Most Haunted with a new name and crew, and perhaps the new show is cheaper to make in the current financial crisis and that is why Living went for it..I hope Derek Acorah is on the new show to up the drama and comedy stakes..lol

remember get the dildo and metal bowl out and do some chanting and bring forth the spirits of Jake the Dewil!

I used to watch at the beggining but got a bit sick of the never ending screaming and the way they always focused the camera's on their faces and never where the supposed orbs/shadows/movement was. I watched a few live programmes and things always happened in the break :rolleyes: or the Pendle Witches were following them.

Hopefully in the final show they will have the decency to come clean and explain that is was all one big con so that the gullible can see it for what it is.

Yvette and Karl got greedy and nasty. Just goes to show fame can corrupt in some people. I loved MH and the MHLs in their earlier days but their arrogance started to put me off, as well as all the blatant and repetitive trickery. Yes, we know it fell under the 'entertainment' umbrella, which covered a lot of bases, but that was in direct contradiction to Yvette's persistent claims that they were doing 'serious investigations'. She would turn into a screeching harpie whenever she was called out. Loved Derek, for entertainment purposes and, more lately, Lesley as she seems clever, but good fun and doesn't take herself too seriously.

I think yvette and Karl owe it to the fans to explain why? perhaps we know why .Money. I think they are both motivated by money and it showed on the Yvette and Karl at home show when Karl splashed money about on cars and I think was quite child like

I've never taken the show seriously and I wouldn't call myself a fan, but the early Most Haunted Live! shows that were one-night events were far better than the ones that ran over four, five, six nights. By the end, they'd spend hours discussing, debating and dissecting a tapping sound.

Erm, there would be them standing about for three hours otherwise.

Why do, according to them, ghosts only come out at night when all the lights are off?

Are all ghosts light sensitive insomniacs?

Re Paul Ross;
I was at a reunion for the old show "The Word" and I spoke to Paul Ross personally for quite a while about Most Haunted. He told me in July the show had been axed because Yvette had fallen out with the TV company (Living I assume he meant)

I said to him I loved the "shortest of short breaks" and he laughed and said they had to take the breaks at set times no matter what was happening on screen.

He said he did genuinely get a scratched hand but confessed he could have just caught it on a nail.

He is a genuinely nice guy. I get the impression he was just in it for the money. Who can blame the guy :)

I do think Yvette has gotten a bit too big for her boots with MH overlooking that it was Living that gave her the vehicle to do it so she does owe them a lot.
Yes it did go to the US their tv is fickle & I wonder if MH would fare well against the more hardnosed approach that they prefer.
My wife loves MH particularly the specials for myself I feel it has just run its course.

I think the whole show became about Yvette and Karl and got very boring and predictable. It was better in the early days when they had Derek Acorah cos at least he was entertaining when he would get 'possesed' and start speaking in strange voices.
