The End of Evangelion, What is its fate?

LOL! I remeraber my first time watching EoE. I had pulse pounding headaches for days just trying figure out what the hell was going on in the second half.

See, part of me wonders if EoE has been hyped up too much as this ultra-disturbing, minRABcrew horror show, so that when I finally see it, I'll say, "That's it? That wasn't so bad." Then again, maybe it IS just as weird and depressing as everyone says. I don't know what to think.

Oh well, it doesn't matter either way; if I do ever decide to watch it, I won't watch in anything but anamorphic WS, and apparently that's not available in the U.S. yet.

Well, it's pretty hard to overhype what is basically and literally the downpoint of everything. Even tiny moments of fleeing victory become deconstructed horribly as if to punish even thinking about happy thoughts.

Whether or not it's a "super minRABcrew," no one will argue it sure is depressing at the very least.

Here's hoping rebuild delivers a (more) sane ending this time around. I never made it to EoE, and I can't say I'm motivated to do it now. I think I'm in the camp that seriously entertains the idea that the series ending could have and should have been left on its own, the whining of fanboys be damned. To an extent EoE seems to be very open to fan interpretation anyhow, so leaving more to the imagination would have been no vice.

That said, if nothing else, perhaps EoE will get streamed eventually at least.
