The Edge (1997)

This film has just come on Sky today and I haven't seen it in ages. I forgot what a great film it was - does anybody else like it?

It stars Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin and they are stuck in the wilderness and stalked by a killing bear. It's quite scary.

Only saw it once a couple of years ago, but remember enjoying it. the stuff with the bear was really well done too.

Yes I like it too, and usually watch it when its on telly.
Its one of those films I just find satisfying and watcable.

apparently Alec Baldwin turned up grossly overweight for filming of this movie,

Art Linson was the producer and a satire of his stories of being a producer (including possibly the situation he had with Baldwin), are the basis for the movie What Just Happened? starring Robert De Niro as a failing producer, due for release shortly
