if recboot gives error then use this version and you have to exit from recovery mode

well you have done it wrong, as this does work, i have done 3 iPhone now it works good.
 
can i use this method for my ipod touch 2g MC.
i dont have shsh file save on cydia. it was shipped with 3.1.3 and i updated it to 4.0 without taking backup of shsh file.
and last question can i use another ipod of same version's shsh file to downgrade my ipod touch

only you forget to mention that this procedure works for 3GS only if SHSH blobs already saved on cydia

of course you have to select "iPhone2,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore.ipsw" to downgrade your device

I went from error 3194 to error 1600.... Does anybody have a fix for error 1600?
I'm using an Iphone 3gs ios4 New bootrom (MB vesion).

i cannot do more than one in a machine.i have made all the changes u have toled.please help me...
 
ok remove that one and add this one 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

or delete your hosts file and add the one i attached

and more.
but i dont know i have backup on cydia server.
how can i know?
