The E65 is due for a firmware update

It's been over 3 months since the original launch firmware. There's no upcoming support listed for it with NSU. I see the E61i and N93i are there, but no E65. We definitely need an update to address issues like the hard reset and function buttons. I'm tempted to email Nokia and see if theres anything down the pipeline for this phone.
 
why yes it does.
mine is going to get one from what nokia said as it had all the sinapore branding and they are going to give it no branding.

Refresh my memory - what problems are you experiencing, and do you have any aftermarket alarm programs installed (seems to be a common reason for reset and button errors)?

Apart from the # fastkey which has never worked, my only issues are more to do with Nokia using the (admittedly very stable) original Series 60 Version 3 software on the E65 instead of the FP1 version - the latter would give me scalable fonts.

I also miss Timed Profiles and Camera Landscape mode but, on the other hand, there are some really cool features - the In Device Search is awesome and I use it every day!

mine has the button problem, and i had nothing installed in it apart from the supplied software from the micro sd, waited at long time for a exchange, went through two of them and then got the N95, afterward i found out it was only a f/w issue and a f/w upgrade will sort all things out, by the way, this was my first symbian phone, now I have the N95, but i think the E65 is still more stable and a better phone.

still wait for stock, then i'm getting another one. lets just hope when hong kong gets the new batch of phone and will includes the new f/w.

I've got E65 from NYC Nokia Flagship store MIF. so far no problem at all.
v1.0633.18.01 RM-208
installed tones of third party apps (as alarm Manager i'm using Handy Clock v4+).

only TreadSMS doesn't work (coolSMS+, works fine though). I'd like to have new FW upgrade for Louder speaker, larger fonts and camera quality, but other than that i'm not sure what to expect.

BTW, RotateMe does perfect job in landscape mode.
 
where do you get rotateme for the E65 ???

thanks plus anyone know where to get a full screen picture caller id or at least a bit bigger then the e65s caller id ??

but don't ask me why there are two versions or where to get them ..... I just found the information at the official Nokia Support Forums!

Considering that the E62 is a carrier phone that is subjected to what Cingular wants and what not in your case, what does that have to do with the unlocked E65.
