The Dylesxia noc

No offense it sounds like you're jealous. And Dyslexia has nothing to do with adding. Here, read this. What ever happened to encouraging handicapped people not to give up. You might not think dyslexia exists, but your opinion about that doesn't matter, there are enough cases to prove it.
 
I'm sorry to break it to you but: Dyslexia does exist.
I have friends with it and it can make your school life very difficult.

And it has nothing to do with "listening" or not.





Now, about the Mac... I don't know how it can help dyslexic people besides the fact that it can correct their orthographic mistakes.

I understand it can be frustrating, but for some dyslexic(sp?) it can be very difficult to read a magazine/text on tv etc. I have a friend who's dyslexic(sp?) she's now studying to be a pharmaceut. She is a very clever person but when she writes on msn she get these simplest words wrong. It has nothing to do with lazyness.


I do think that getting them a mac just because they are dyslexic is a bit wrong, it's like "oh you have something wrong with yourself, here have a computer!" it should be how hard they actually try and even "normal" people should get those kinds of awards. :happysad:

Like the others said dylexia does exist, but I don't see why they need a Mac for that. To help them think visually as Macs are good for multimedia and stuff? Ridiculous.
 
So there you go; a computer can help with the treatment of dyslexia through the use of text to speech engines, tactile aid through the use of the pointer, and helping the dyslexic to sound out words. Now stop being a petty, jealous dick and offer your friend some support for his handicap and enjoy having all your mental faculties intact.
 
This is the most bullshit thing I have ever read. Unless you actually know what you are talking about you should not talk. Dyslexia is a real problem that prevents otherwise normally functioning persons from learning. Computers assist with this learning. Just because you are so special and clever doesn't mean other people can be as smart as you and your all greatness. You should totally continue to confuse brain misfunctions with laziness and stupidity.

Seriously, it does sound like you're just jealous. Get over yourself for God's sakes. If you earn some money in an actual job instead of complaining about what your friends got from an organization trying to HELP your friends, maybe you might have something to get your own goddamn iMac.

Until then, stop fucking complaining on a website full of people you don't know.
