The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

I really hope so. Dusseldorf has been my city of choice because the venue is perfect whereas the venues in the other cities are sub-standard for a TV production like eurovision.
 
I'm going very left field and controversial for my choice in the Fantasy Eurovision - it's very quiet and understated, and pretty much guaranteed not to have crossed anyone's radar scope...hopefully an eye-opener!
 
So my original choice that was already taken was actually Vanessa Amorosi. seems quite lucky as a few of you seem to not like it. It actually gives me goosebumps
 
So who do you think is going to win? I know you posted the other day but I want to know if its changed! And also... what are your suspicions on which FM owns which song?

Ooooh, and that reminRAB me, me and Little Anzej went to a posh cookshop yesterday morning to get a baking tin as he had a hankering for brownies.....

It was one of those with piped instrumental music, and suddenly my ears pricked up .... it was Eres Tu! How random!

I am sooo Team Minogue!! And I love that video of The Promise because I love Dannii pouting along :p
 
Proving once again I am out of step with most people on the forum, you only have to look at my two representations in the comps so far, now I find I like most of these so called worst ever songs. In fact, I am a fan of most of the Latvian entries, it's Austria and Finland who send crap most of the time. And whoever chose Pan from 1989 neeRAB shot for lack of taste. Its defo one of the best in my opinion. It will be easy to discard quite a few of these. But then us Eurofans are not the best at finding a concensus on a bad Eurosong.

I also love Ping Pong 2000 and Schmetterlinge 1977.
 
I've been listening to my entry a lot over the last couple of days and it's beginning to grow on me :cool:

kinda ruins the whole idea of this comp, but never mind - I'll have to go for the knee-jerk vote!

That is wonderful, all but the singing anyway! Shame it wasn't sang by someone with half a decent singing voice.

Also noticed Arja is listed at the right of that song as a 'suggestion'

I will, I will! I'm currently having blogspot based drama. Once it's sorted, i'll link. I must warn you, it's pretty bare at the moment - I haven't quite started the countdown yet.



What I was gonna do was post an entry a day and talk a bit about it. But only from 100 down to 1. I will eventually post the rest of the list, or I might do posts like "The Worst of Scandanavia" or "The Home Entries" and discuss different songs with placings. :)
