There was originally supposed to be some sort of recognition of him during the 2008 semi final that Macedonia was at but in the end all that happened was that one of the wacky (unbearable) backstage hosts went up to the Macedonian singer just before the results were announced and said "To who were you singing your song to today?" or something like that to which she replied "To our Macedonian angel who is always here with us," which was met with cheers in the audience. Presumably she meant Tose and I think Paddy mentioned at that time that she probably meant that.

Yeah it's bizzare haha! ... She sang a fantastic song called Innocent Eyes, if that had been chosen it would have been a great contender for my 12 points :D

Did you love the postcard at the beginning where he is standing in a garden, in full shell suit, with one hand jauntily on his hip? And the cheeky wink from the fake drummer actually made me snort my coffee through my nose :)
 
For me the point is to pick a song that you think could have fitted in perfectly at ESC - there are always going to be some choices that are more mainstream than others but that depenRAB on the chooser's tastes.

Do we have many number 1s in this week's competition?
