I'm not sure. It was on Scandipop's twitter, and they said they would update their website properly a bit later on. I imagine we'll get more details then.
Also, big bro geek - what's the outcome? Are we having 1 artist with two songs?
One of my favourite ever Eurovision moments is during this song. About a minute in, the first instrumental bit. Jelena lifts her arms and the crowd goes WILD. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up! A-mazing!
We shall be having a battle between 2 songs. Thought about saving it for the next competition but was struggling to think of something as good as I think the song is
Yeah, but we haven't heard much about Hungary have we? I'd guess that they would get their participation fee back, but only because the EBU can be really lenient about stuff like that. It must be solely for broadcasters that they are planning on approving. Could you imagine if they gave the green light for an entry to participate, realised the broadcaster didn't fufil the requirements and cut the entry last minute?
Hopefully that's the case about EMA. I love the drama it brings!
I think the best we can hope for with 3JS is a low key ballad that almost picks up the Tom Dice vote. Then hopefully they'll decide that it has to be in English. Not my kinda thing at all, but I don't really want them to see another semi-final failure.
Also, ERABilia was determined to sing in Dutch in 2007, but changed her mind eventually - so it could happen.
You've got to wonder why, instead of just sticking a load of really dreadful songs in the selection, they didn't just reduce the amount of songs in the show! There's so many clearly dreadful ones when in some years they've probably got enough half decent songs to fill a show with.
