And the dirge that you can slash your wrists to misses the final!

RAB Eurovision Artists Game
Pick a non-Eurovision song by a Eurovision artist.
The song cannot be from a National Final, but other than that - anything goes. Any artist can only be represented by one song, so buy now to prevent being disappointed later :p Feel free to pick the artist and then decide the song later.
Please PM me with your choices by Wednesday 29th September by 5pm.
When picking your artist, please send a youtube link. It can be a live performance, music video or just a studio version.

Dzuli is a classic and I'm sure you'll enjoy the english version which was a big hit across Europe.....obviously not here. It's the accordion which makes it and of course was so successful this year.

"Don't ever cry" was my first actual choice knowing my ideal choices (Dzuli being one of them) would have been taken. I remember the stories surrounding "Put" and how they'd to dodge bullets to make it to Ireland and had to rehearse in bombed out churches. Thanks to youtube you can see that they qualified by winning Dora with not a firearm to be seen.

The son of the writer of "Dont Ever Cry" sang their 2005 entry which is another one surprisingly missing.

:D I was watching it and up popped an advert for N'Dubz! speak about kicking someone when their down. ;)

Having said that, I think this list is way more interesting than last week. A nod to whoever picked Malu which was one of my considerations, she has the subtlety Coral lacks.

I've already ranked mine, ready to go!

Also, I'm just finalising my votes for the current competition (top 3 is causing me trouble), with one eye on my entry for next week.

I really hope I do well this week, to make up for my last entry and also because I really think I've got a good chance at a decent finish this week with a song that deserves not to be an also ran!

I wondered whether there was a possibility of that, but I then heard that aside from the Eurovision, Dusseldorf was playing host to, of all things, a packaging fair that week - with the majority of hotel rooms having been packed out by the delegates.

I am planning to book a hotel room when I buy the tickets just for peace of mind, and the reason why I thought of staying in Cologne was because it'd be a nice city to explore in the Eurovision off-days, but I've still got a few weeks to make up my mind before the tickets go on sale.

Nevertheless I do appreciate you having the courtesy to reply to and assist me. :)
