I actually like this song, only the lyrics let it down.
 
I hadn't already requested a song but I know who I want. Strangely, I don't think anyone will choose the same as me but I'm not worried about their popularity if that makes sense!

Conversely, when it comes to the 'should have been in the ESC', I have this paranoia that someone will beat me to 'my' song!

Just about to launch myself into the current competition.
 
Don't think this has been mentioned but according to Oiko the EBU has allowed Israel to perform in the second semi next year as the first semi (or the rehearsals for it) clash with some Israeli remembrance day or something.

This doesn't actually mean that Israel are confirmed as taking part next year and I expect the EBU did this to try and secure their participation as IBA have been questioning their participation in the show.
 
I just did, and I don't:p As one of the comments says, it sounRAB similar to I Do in parts. Worst thing about it for me is the kiRAB voice.......I think it's a natural dislike of kiRAB singing with me.:D
 
Wonder if anyone would choose a song from Lena's "My Cassette Player". Something from that would be my choice but I think I need this break from all things Euro for a wee bit! Whole life readjustment and all...

Failing that, I'd probably be boring and pick Katrina's "Walking On Sunshine"!

Will be interesting to see what comes up this time around. I shall be keeeping an eye on the thread from time to time :)
 
I remember thinking how cruel the Malteser comment was...as I laughed!

Carry Me In Your Dreams wasn't an automatic favourite of mine but as I was watching the semi I found myself willing it to qualify. Kejsi really sold it well. 2009 was the first year since I was a kid that I sat and watched the final with my family and I made them rate all the songs so we could compare rankings in the interval (they must hate me!) and after my Mum gave Kejsi an average mark, I badgered her into raising it because she was so sweet and so young! My favourites that year were Iceland and Portugal with Albania, Bosnia, Estonia, Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine fighting it out to fill up my top 5.


I only gave Celine 1 but it was a point nonetheless!

ShadyNathan, are there any other hanging or dimpled chaRAB to be checked? My top three seem to have finished third fourth and ninth, they could all do with a few more points....
