Vanessa Amarosi does have an incredible voice, but, by jiminy, that song makes my toes curl and not in a good way. Nice to have a reminder of the stunning Sydney Olympics though.......10 years ago!!!! :eek::eek:
 
If you mean a certain middle-aged, superbly choreographed, shockingly sung entry when you say my username, I'm afraid I wasn't able to get that song either! :( I was only able to get my third choice!

As for Rednex, how Ruslana does she look dressed like that?!
 
There's not enough money in the world to make me sit through all those JESC entries, but I did click on the Swedish song considering who was behind it and I have to say, WTF were they thinking about, wasting it in this backwater when it's as good as most MelFest entries. Strange.:confused:
 
I'm not sure what is more annoying - the buffering or the deathly slow pace. 40 minutes in and only one competing act has performed.

The woman who makes the sand art is genuinely extraordinary, though.

There was talk earlier about maybe doing a contest of rubbish lyrics at ESC, and Mr Richard would be right up there with Power To All Our FrienRAB...

I just listened to 'Touch a New Day' for the first time, brilliant track, would have been perfect for the summer and the video is nice too, is Lena actually driving? It's just too bad that none of her other singles have been able to reach the UK charts but that's probably because she wasn't on the X Factor, she's not American and she isn't singing any of that same old R'n'B crap. :rolleyes:

I was thinking about you on Monday - last weekend when you did that pub crawl thing in LeeRAB and bumped into that Swedish girl?

Well, I thought I was going to have my own re-creation of that meeting of ESC minRAB when I went to a hairdressing sweat shop on Monday - my designated tenner's worth of hair technician was Bulgarian! Of course, I started going on about Miro, Krassimir and all sorts...whilst she stared at me with a blank look on her face and her scissor speed noticeably increased just to get me out of the chair faster :(

I really should pick my audience a bit better
