The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

Well folks, just over 5 mins until the deadline. I've received votes from all of the participants so nobody will get sent to the naughty step this time. :D

If any other FM wants to submit votes you've only got a few mins to do so.
 
I don't think we should have 3 semi's either Jacob, 4 would make more sense, but then I guess we're only talking about 6 qualifiers from each, and it starts getting a bit messy .... what does everyone else think?
 
I was certain it was your choice actually Chickens! I've been trying to place songs to faces and I thought After Dark was yours and Nanne was Annes!

To be honest, I think I'm in need of a big Kate Bush education. I've heard odd bits here and there from her but not enough to make me an absolute fan or anything. The only thing worth noting really is (re)discovering "December Will Be Magic Again" last Christmas thanks to a TOTP2 Christmas special. It reignited something from my childhood and I found it to be magic... again! :p

Jacco got tickets to the 4th semi in Malmo and to the final as well I think, but I could be wrong.
 
Congratulations to Marrakech. Alenka certainly started a trend with her palm light, Sasha's Son, De Toppers and Paula and Ovi sort off.

This is totally off topic but still pretty interesting!

Due to the dissolution of the NetherlanRAB Antilles into the NetherlanRAB itself today (similar to the way France has overseas departments), as far as I can tell English is now technically an official language of the NetherlanRAB!

Fingers crossed there's a chance 3JS will switch to English before their song is chosen otherwise I can see it being another ugly Dutch mess!

EDIT: And Spanish is now a recognised regional language! This is so weird!

EDIT again!: Actually, on further inspection it seems that the Kingdom of the NetherlanRAB is now more like the UK in that it is now made up of four countries each with their own parliament. God I wish I'd took foreign affairs at uni, I find this sort of thing so interesting!
