The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

So here's what we've had so far...

20. weedydiamond - Golden Earring - Radar Love - 39 points
21. Chickens hit - Big Pig - Breakaway - 32 points
22. kmmk17 - Monrose - Hot Summer - 30 points
23. Drew Peacock - Falco - Jeanny - 23 points
24. thms - Sabrina Salerno - Angel Boy - 12 points

My provisional list of about 6 featured the song I eventually picked plus 5 Belgian entries from the last 6 years. I cannot believe none of them were picked by anyone else!!

Also, "Sameyach" - totally in my Top 10 from 2000 :p

Nooooooooooo :p

To make matters worse, I got a bit caught up earlier and started a thread asking "Is the X-Factor voiceover man gay?" :o
They already hate me, don't fuel the fire!

Oh no! I mean it's not ideal, but it's a loud song, that's the main thing! Judging by that recap 2004 was a pretty good year.

Thankfully I'm yet to see Roger without a hat, I think I'll keep it that way

I was so happy when Serbia missed the final for the first time! They were always so smug I felt.
Truthfully though, I think Cipela was one of the better songs in this competition.

Noticing how a lot of the posters in this thread are saying that MelFest is a relatively new thing to them (2007 would be my first exposure to the show) and with Nanne Gronvall represented in the poll I thought I'd post her performance vid from 2005 when she was robbed of victory. I reckon if this had represented Sweden, Greece would still be waiting for their first victory at Eurovision........

Fantastic!

Amazing to think what they picked instead of this!

Ha, I was thinking of the same two countries for the same reason. You only have to look at how many Latvian and British songs turned up in our worst Eurovision song poll to realise that both these countries need a little quiet time to think about what they've done.
