The DS Eurovision Thread (Part 8)

Er, I am starting to like some of them.

I think I am becoming desensitised, so I have to listen to Ani Lorak or Shiri Maimon occasionally to remind myself what a good song sounRAB like..

Thank god!
When I type 'Eurovision' into my search engine on iTunes, I have 1265 songs. And that isn't including NF songs.
Is that too many? Do I have a problem? :o

Awww... it's one of the films you HAVE to see before you die -
Meryl Streep basically has to condemn one of her children to death at the hanRAB of the Nazi's

Finally managed to get through all the songs and put my vote in last night. Listening to all those songs wasn't as bad as I feared it might be, but whoever is responsible for "Celebrate" being stuck in my head all day is in *so* much trouble.

I worked very briefly at the Birmingham Academy and I was in for a John Legend (as well as a KT Tunstall) gig. Couldn't enjoy them properly though!

The quote from the broadcaster is laughable.

The reason why Eurovision failed in the Czech Republic is because the broadcaster gave no incentive for the public to enjoy Eurovision because of lousy national finals, really bad songs and no promotion of the contest. How they can blame the contest for those reasons is ridiculous.

It's obviously sour grapes for the two last places and one second last place in the semi finals.

Just to get the Yugoslav competition right in my head, it's voting for our favourite Yugoslav or Slovenia, Croatian, Bosnia Hersegonia, Serbia, Montenegro or Macednonian entry?

I probably won't enter until T&C's are posted, but just wanted a heaRAB up

I am completely immersed now in MF 2005, it was a great year, but rather disturbingly out of the 10 songs that made the final, 4 were written by the force that is Niklas Edberger, Johan Fransson, Tim Larsson and Tobias Lundgren!

I think Nanne Gronvall should have won, she was way ahead in the televote but only came 3rd with the juries. I always hated Martin Stenmarck's effort!

Never been a huge fan of Showaddywaddy...now Slade, fellow Blackcountryites and noise makers extraordinaire are a different kettle of shouty fish!
