The second gen was definitely not as good as the first gen. I don't actually like any of the second gen characters except Effy on occasion and Panda... some of the time. Cook has his moments though. Freddie is a bore. :yawn: I'm so glad they're doing a movei though... I can't wait to see all the gen 1 characters again. :sigh:

Because I like how adorably young she looks in this icon. :P And I feel like I have better quotes to go with a Rose icon. :lmao:

Exactly. :nod: I love characters in fiction I would most likely do my best to avoid in real life. Fiction is completly different then RL.

I think new people should win... new and deserving people. I don't get how many times a person can feel honored getting the same award. :lmao:

I don't really think you can use that argument though. I mean besides Kristy Swanson who played Buffy in the movie, which is VASTLY different than the show, we haven't seen anyone else play Buffy. So we can't say that SMG made the role and no other actress would have been able to do the same. I do think SMG made the role as we have seen it and she did a fantastic job, no doubt. And she did deserve some award recognition. I don't deny that at all. But who's to say someone else in the role wouldn't have been just as good or better? Wouldn't have been just as connected and emotional?

Especially Matthew. :look: His acting isn't amazing. The character of Kurt can drive me crazy and he's definitely not my favorite, but I guess Kurt does do him well.

I mean, they're up for comedic acting so thats another thing. :shrug:
