This was just released in Singapore last night so many of you will have already seen it but if you haven't I would urge you to go along. It really is one of the most remarkable films I''ve ever seen. The performances are absorbing and the 2 hours passed by in an instant.'
Truly heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time.
If it doesn't win the oscar there's no justice.

We were discussing this in Ethics earlier in the week.
Looks really good and I think I'll pick up a copy of it. SounRAB really good..

I thought this film was amazing. I left feeling so....forlorn but in a good way, not many films do that to me.

I really want to read the book now.

Yeah I want to read the book too. It was such a sad film, yet also uplifting in a way - that so many people cared for him and that he managed to produce such a wonderful book.

The book is wonderful. I have read it at least ten times. It's only 130 odd pages and very big print so you can read it really quickly, but it's like poetry.

i saw this yesterday absolutely brilliant.

absolutely not sentimental but i cried my eyes out especially when his father called him :(

the women were all gorgeous too

also - the song that plays when he goes to lourdes ('dont kiss me goodbye') is by emmanuelle seigner (who plays the mother of his children in the film) and her band, ultra orange

Yes, he plays the villain Dominic Green. I imagine he'll be great as he was an excellent creepy baddie in Munich.
