Does any one know this?

For example their political values?
The way they approach stories?
What type of political bias are they?
What type of stories are their main focus?

Etc etc.....

Any help would be great!

Thankyou

Hi,

Both of the news channels are the same like any other ones in the world as news channels on the TV in the UK cannot be biased.

Hope this helps

To be honest I don't think there is a deliberate bias by either, even though many right wingers claim the BBC is leftist, in which case they've never listened to the news programme Today on R4 in the mornings. I think if a journalist went from the independents to the beeb they'd notice little between them.

I am staggered by how many people think that the BBC doesn't have a left wing bias. It certainly has, and even the BBC admits this. It advertises most of its job vacancies in the left wing Guardian. Need I say more? The BBC also avoids reporting certain stories that it doesn't want us to hear. They always try to give stories a spin that fits with their lefty agenda. They tend to be anti-American, unpatriotic, and tend to be friends of this Government. ITN isn't that much different, just a little less biased and softer round the edges.

The BBC has a different audience, and kisses ass of the royal family. The BBC breaksdown and explains financial stories well, too. Stories regarding money, because they have too much. Good national news, but generally ignores small towns, how ever big the story.

ITV tells us what we actually care about, it tends to break down political stories too, where as the BBC assumes we know. Also alot more local, pays attention to small towns.
