I liked the book pretty well and the movie is getting great reviews but I feel like the previews must not be up to par. I think the promos are so bland! And people keep saying the movie is good so, I am conflicted about seeing it vs. waiting for dvd.

This movie would've been nothing if not for Meryl Streep's incredible, kick ass and bitchy Miranda. I could watch her be Miranda all day.

I just watched it for Anne, but then I saw that Adrian Grenier was in it but I really loved the movie and Meryl was so funny in it :D I even got the book :)

yeah, they seemed like a good couple in the movie, but you had to feel a litte sorry for Adrian

Meryl Streep was soo good in the film. She really is an actress, not a "movie star". She was so believable and did the part perfectly

There are some memorable quotes on the Internet Movie Database page for the movie...Memorable Quotes from The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie. It's great, I expecially loved Meryl Streep. :D The book is AMAZING too, I definitely reccomend it.

I agree - it seems like there aren't as many good "fun" movies - a lot of the only good ones I feel like are the really serious ones based on some historic event...

I loved Meryl Streep in it and I liked Anne Hathaway - sometimes it got a little too cutesy for Anne Hathaway's part and I felt like I was back in the Princess Diaries.
Overall, it wasn't what I was expecting, but it was good :)

I looooved this movie!!! I was waiting for something common like a girly teenager movie. It is one, but I liked it a lot anyways, it was very good and really fun!

Not sure. But, I thought Anne and Adrian were cute together. Anyone else agree?

^ Really? I heard the book is better :look:

I saw this movie a couple of days ago and really liked it. It was pretty good for a 2000s film.

does anyone know where to find quotes from the movie? I wanna find the one when Andy gives her friend (Joanne from RENT) the marc jacobs bag. That whole scene about the guys not understanding why girls need so many bags and all that good stuff.

I saw it the other night, it was great. I'm really surprised at how much I liked it. And everyone has said it is alot better then the book. I haven't read it but hopefully if the book turned you off, you'll still see this movie.
