I really like this movie. But I'm glad that I saw the TV show Ugly Betty first 'cause I was able to understand more of this movie than I would've if I had seen this first :nod:
 
I always find that if if I read the book first I am always disappointed in the movie because of all the things they changed or left out. If I see the movie first and then read the book I don't feel any disappointment about things that are left out or whatever.

I've heard the movie is a bit different from the book. THe book was pretty good.
 
It's a nice, easy movie to watch. It's not too intense.

Meryl Streep is awesome in it. :nod:
 
I really loved the movie - definitly one of my favorite movies so far! It just came to the cinemas here and I´m pretty sure that I´ll watch it again.

Does anyone know where i can find good icons and other stuff related to the movie??
 
I tried to read the book once and read like 50 pages and just thought it was really boring. But I liked the movie. It was very cute. Meryl's amazing of course, and Anne Hathaway is just so likable. Plus Adrien Grenier is hot. :D
 
Yeah this movie was actually a surpirse hit to me.

I always thought it would be good, going by the trailer when it was released, but when i actually saw it i was impressed. I wasn't aware of Meryl Streep's skills until i saw it.

Years later when Julie & Julia was released i saw it off the back of having seen Devil Wears Prada.

It's one of those fun, good movies, you know?
 
I just rewatched this.

I think Anne has very good chemistry with everyone. I love Emily, too.
 
I thought the movie was ok. The book was tons better IMO though. They changed quite a bit of stuff for the movie and I wasn't pleased with alot of the changes. Ann and Meryl were good.............just thought the script didn't live up to the book.

Love all the icons!
 
This film has to be one of my Favorites!
I love how it combines Comedy,Drama and Fashion all into one Movie :D
 
I loved this movie more than I expected. Meryl's performance was stellar. :nod: And Emily Blunt stole each scene that she was in. Loved her. :love:
 
i saw it twice and it was really funny. Meryl Streep was funny w/out trying to be.

LOVED this movie! I thought it was soooo good! haven't seen a really good happy all is good movie in awhile. Walked out in the best mood EVERA!
 
The movie is worth watching and believe me you will like the complete movie as well as you have guessed it.
