Leo had recorded a conversation that Matt Damon's character had with Jack Nicholson's character and he figured out that he was the rat. I also think that Leo figured it out when he was in Matt's office at the police station.

This is my new favorite movie by far! I saw it a few days ago with my mom, and she didn't really like it all that much .. but it's not really the kind of movie she likes. But .. I was literally speechless afterwards. Like you guys said, those last ten, fifteen minutes are killer. I always liked Leonardo Dicaprio but .. HOLY FREAKING WHOA was he good in this movie. At first, I was like ... okay, Leo isn't going to do this whole badboy/gangster type thing that well. But I was dead wrong.

And Marky Mark .. he was pretty much the reason I went to see it. I just wished he would've had a bigger part because he was freaking genius in this movie. And I also had a feeling he would be the one to kill Matt Damon's character. I knew the movie would end with Matt Damon dying ..

And Matt himself .. I thought he was good, I don't really have an opinion on him but .. I liked his character in the movie, lol. And Jack Nicholson .. he was great as always .. but I agree with the person who said that they can't picture him as anything but a psycho, lmao.

But overall, I was so excited to see this movie and .. gah, I'm in love.

I also hate Crash with passion. I specially hate it when people compare Babel to Crash. Babel was wonderful and I thought Crash was pointless and lame.
I have many friends who like Crash, though.

I'm so excited for this movie. Mainly because it has so many talented actors in it - Jack Nicholson, Leonardo Dicaprio, Mark Wahlberg .. it's bound to be at least watchable. And not to mention, I love Dicaprio and Wahlberg with all my heart. But, yeah, I agree with the poster that said all of a sudden Mark Wahlberg is back and in everything! I'm not complaining though.

He blew me away...... I saw this movie and he had the ENTIRE theater in the palm of his hand. He has turned into a mighty fine actor. He was always so good, but not like this. Right now, I believe he can play anyone and anything.

This movie, while I have not seen the original, was excellent. I couldn't even put it into words, but Scorsese is a genius and a beautiful director (which, of course, everyone knows).

Mark Walhberg was a half step from running away with the movie.

Ahhhh, everything was awesome that I could write all night.

Aww, that's a great way to celebrate! :D I can't believe there's still no release date whatsoever for the DVD here. Scratch that, it's coming, though in April, but it's still coming! :yay:

Oh! THIS is the one based on Internal Affairs? Hmm...

But it's Scorcese! Hopefully he'll do it justice, if anyone would.

This movie letarary blew my mind away, I actually forgot to breath at some points! it was so exciting.
I was so surprised when Leo died, I was not expecting that!
I didnt quite understand the end, did Mark kill Matt because he figured out he was the rat or because he took his job?

I saw this movie a few weeks ago and I loved it. I'm a Martin Scorsese fan si I knew it wouldn't be a waste of time :D
Leo was amazing in it, I'm so happy that he got a Golden Globe nod. Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin and Mark Wahlberg were really good too. In some scenes Mark was hilarious.

I'd been wanting to watch this film since I first heard they were going to make it. And it definitly did not disappoint! :D Everything was great. The acting, the music, the dialogue, the balance of humor / drama. Loved it.

Leo was brilliant in this!! I can't stress that enough. Wow! But, all the performances were stong especially Jack and Matt.

And yep, I think the baby was definitely Billy's.

I've seen this trailer like 3 times, attached to each of the last 3 movies I watched.

Looks interesting. But I heard it's not as good as its original Internal Affairs from reviews. And the music toward the end of the trailer was really off.

Insanitic - Really? I've only found a handful of people who didn't like Crash. I was enthralled with it the entire time. But I can't help it. It was such a good movie. For me, anyway.

I want to see this movie.

I like mob/crime/police movies and this one looks like a winner top to bottom. Plus, though he's always been good Leonardo Dicaprio has turned into such a fine actor the last few years... I love his performances and I want to watch anything he is in.

Plus, freakin' Scorsese!!! I'm there.

wes&fred I agree that the film was kinda slow to start, and I also found it a bit long - Scorcese could have cut gratuitous scenes like Nicholson and his Scarfaceesque coke orgy without sacrificing any plot or characterization.

And I'm kinda curious - whose baby do you guys think it was? I'm leaning towards Billy's, esp given the scene between Colin and Madolyn that implied he had trouble performing (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

Here's the IMDb page info on the film.

Honestly, I'm not sure I'll see this as I'm not really into mob films at the moment (too many episodes of The Sopranos, maybe! *lol*), but what I thought when I saw the previews is it's odd Mark Wahlberg's in it.

He seemed to have disappeared for a while and now he's back, and in almost every upcoming film! How does he manage that?

Anyway - anyone else see the previews lately?

Amazing movie :D Not predictable at all!

Leo did a great job! He better win something for that!
