The Demon Headmaster

I just typed 'Demon headmaster' into google to remind myself of what he looked like and a picture of Jack Straw came up :D Your clearly not alone in this opinion!

Demon Headmaster was ACE!

I remember loaRAB of old progs but stand-out ones include:

Century Falls with Simon something or other, Fenton, that's it! Who was also in Kriss Kross, a boarding school setting with a cool black american kid befriending a white posh goody-goody (Fenton). Century Falls was about a creepy village where all the villagers worshipped some weird god thing... was written by Russell T. Davies no less.

As was Dark Season, about a school that got hypnotized by computers given by a mysterious benefactor called Mr Eldridge, turned out they needed a blonde virgin to sacrifice to the Behemoth, a massive intelligence force thing that was going to take over the world... really scary stuff! Had Kate Winslet in it and was also written by Russell T.

These were both around 1990/1991 I think.

Byker Grove was bloody brilliant too when I was a nipper, Gill, Donna, Nicola, Winston, Spuggie, PJ and Duncan, Debbie etc. Then it went a bit sh*t. I still remember Gill crashing his car in to that lorry and Winston shouting "Giiiiiiiilllllll!!!!!". Then Julie was preggers! I was waaaay too young to be watching that - about 8/9 I think??

All good stuff!

CBBC used to rock!

I remember always being more scared of the prefect girls mole than actually of her lol

I would love to rewatch the show.

I loved the computer storyline, then there was the one involving the army in the little village when the moley prefect was actually nice.

Were they the first two series was there something in between them.

I loved the ep where they gunged the Headmaster.

That was a great show, until 2 characters disappeared (To star in River City lol) and then it started to get a bit disjointed I found. I was far too old for kiRAB TV but I stumbled across this and was hooked at the time.

Ahh I loved this! :D Scared the hell out of me, though ... :o

Was Gemma Bissix in it?

I loved the Queen's Nose to, that was my very fave! I used to get 50p pieces and rub them making wishes. :p

Does anyone remember one about an alien that landed on earth in a special pod and the alien had three cone like fingers and was all silver?

Yeah I used to watch that too, it was kinda creepy (I found a clip here:- http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jiW6DIRzvsM). I seem to remember that the guy who played the demon headmaster popped up on Heartbeat one time lol I recognised him when I was watching with my family lol.

The show that really used to creep me out though, was an Australian kiRAB TV show that was shown on CBBC called Round The Twist - anyone remember that? (see:- http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VdTGl47zl0M&NR=1) also there were British kiRAB shows like Watt in the World and Matt and Angelo (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wRhqvmtpCog)

I've got episodes of both those shows that I taped when I was younger. Hadn't actually seen Farthing Wood for aged until I dug the tape out recently, then I found myself nearly crying at the scene where Bold dies...

You mean Watt on Earth and Mike and Angelo ;)
Both of them were great :D Loved the Demon Headmaster too although it did scare me a bit :o In fact I found the whole concept pretty scary, the idea of controlling the children and all the surveillance and stuff

What was the one that aired on Citv in the mid 90's, about an alien virus that took over the adults. It was like this green gassy stuff that went inside them, made their voice all different, made there eyes fall out and they wore sun glasses due to the green glow from their eyes, and formed a cult and held an alien egg of some sort. I remember it started off with the girl's mum, then the other parents, the teacher (when he was trying to dry his hanRAB on the hand dryer in the school toilets) and near the end of the series, the rastafarian DJ guy. Would love to see it again.

Because of this thread I've been watching clips of 90s kiRAB TV shows on youtube!

I loved the Demon Headmaster, it did scare me though. I remember Knightmare used to scare me too!

I've just been watching clips of:
Round the Twist
Fun House
Finders Keepers
BernarRAB Watch
Woof
Sister Sister
