Yesterday after about 50 miles and one stop to look at a Porsche.
Took off again and the second Stop light I got it rolling in 1st and then
she just died. All the lights and electronics work but doesn't seem to
have spark. I can hear the fuel pump buzz to life when the key is
turned own. The kill switch seems to function correctly also.
I've checked fuses. Is there a secret fuse that protects the ECU?

Any ideas on trouble shooting would be greatly appreciated.
The Duc shop manual leaves a bit out on trouble shooting electrics.

My .02 says it has to be a relay. Most of them are the cheap line of Bosch parts and are pretty chintzy.
Start pulling them and if you can bench test them, apply 12 volts to the coil and see if they actuate.

Found the problem in the fuel tank.
Line blew off the pump. PO had put a small filter on
and left the old vent hoses in the tank when he replaced the filter with new line, the old vent hose had
deteriorated so bad rubber chunks were floating everywhere.

New filter and line reinstalled and after replacing the line for the second time today she runs great again.

The reason I had to do it twice. The new FI line I put in yesterday immediately swelled up and softened allowing pressure variations. Really noticeable at low rpms but didn't seem to effect it at higher rpms.
She'd really spit and sputter in the lower range.,
Now, with good line all is right again on the mountain.
