Has anyone noticed that the score and just sound effects in general on the DVD are a bit loud? At least, when compared to the rest of the movie? :look:

I always have to put the movie on max volume during the speaking and other such parts. But with the trucker and other similar scenes, I always have to turn the volume down or risk blowing out my eardrums. :look:

Not too sure about the movie's chances at the Oscars, given that only Heath for a nomination for the Golden Globes. But whatevs. Still an awesome movie.

Urgh, I really want to see it in IMAX!!! It's not available in this city, but they do have it in Glasgow, so I'm hoping that I can get a chance to go through and watch it before it's taken out of the cinemas.

A couple of new articles:

I'm still bummed about it probably not beating Titanic, but $500 million + isn't bad at all.

And in case there was still any doubt:

I got Batman Begins the day it came out (huge drama too!) But I'm afraid TDK will have to wait till Christmas because I'm broke.

Ohhhhhhh!

This is the best movie I've seen for 2008 so far. I just hope that more and more movies like this will be produce so audience would definitely experience a total quality-movie and also they won't regret to spend more money in watching.

Pssh, he would've won it either way.

I'm really glad Heath's family made the acceptance speech this time, as opposed to Christopher Nolan. Who I'm sure would've done a good job, but it felt more personal and appropriate for them to have done it. I also thought it was nice that they showed a lot of the faces in the crowd during the speeches, it just shows a few of the many people Heath's death affected.

I really hope it gets re-released here too, I'd love to see TDK on the big-screen again! Especially since I'm too broke to buy the DVD right now :(

I hate the people saying that he's only gonna win it because he's dead. That it's like a Pity-Win or something. Grrr.

Oh, really? I don't know whether it would or not, but if it does, I guess it makes sense they wouldn't bother releasing it elsewhere. Sucks :pout:

I'm glad the soundtrack was put back into Oscar consideration, after they nixed it the first time, because the music was EPIC.
