Aw, sorry. I thought it was Sam aka antarian angel. Jeez, maybe the daniel radcliffe and harry potter just under your names respectively got me confused. Sorry.

In the book the character of Langdon sometimes FEELS like wallpaper because the whole thing is SO much bigger than him. The book is not about him at all, in a sense he is indeed just there.

I remember feeling that way while reading the book until Langdon would start taking charge again and coming up with good stuff, etc. Soo, I don't think it had anything to do with Tom Hanks, at least for me.

I heard the Russel Crowe rumor also. I can't see Hanks playing Langdon. Hope that's false.

I really had never heard that idea before I read the book. It just got more and more absurd as it went on, really

I don't think I remember Julie Delphy in anything - which film should I watch to convince me she would be good for this role?

I agree. I read that Paul Bettany is cast as the albino which surprises me because when I read the book, I pictured a really huge, muscular guy but I'm sure Paul will do a great job. I love Tom Hanks but I must admit I don't like him cast as the lead role only because I've never seen him as a hero type. And I love that they cast Audrey Tatou!! I was pulling for her from the start.

Just finished the book, so I'm hoping to watch the movie tonight. :glow:

Never really listened to critics. And the whole...controversy about the book and religion is rather annoying. It's just a story. Believe what you will.

As far as the romance of Langdon and Sophie...was there really a suprise? In the book, I thought he was much older...so, it could have been worse. But you can't forget about their chemistry, and the situation that they're both in together. Mystery, action...looks like they want to put romance in with it. :goof:

I have to admit I've only see Ian McKellen in Gods and Monsters, Apt Pupli and the X Men movies, but he seems like a great actor and I think he will make the character great.

 After watching Wimbledon last year I had predicted to my friend that Paul Bettany would probably play Silas in this movie and alas alas there he is...

I just saw this movie and I have to get it an A. I haven't see a good movie for so long and I would recommend everyone to see this one. It's good and it will keep you in your seat.

I like the casts very much. They all did great and I really like Audrey Tautou. She did a wonderful job and I'm sure she will be recognize after this movie!

Ive never once gone by reviews for any movie IVe seen so I dont plan tos tart now, I still want to see it.

I read on the front page of the Daily Express yesterday that Kate Beckinsale might be interested in getting it. Being a massive KB fan I say good luck to her...I know nothing about the book and it's characters.

Anyone care to give me a short synopsis of the book? :look:

Julie Delpy is great, she can do a lot of stuff. I love her in "Before Sunrise" and "Before Sunset", as well as "An American Werewolf in Paris". She's good. :)

 Seriously? I grew up in a Catholic culture but was surrounded by a lot of agnostics so I heard this sort of topic since I was a young child. :look:
