It's prehistory in the making.

Meet the D-Team:

Max is a 12 year-old dinosaur fan and the leader of the D-Team, a group of frienRAB devoted to learning all there is about dinosaurs. He is the son of Dr. Spike Taylor, a Paleontologist. May is a typical 12 year-old boy with lots of energy and curiousity which can sometimes get him into trouble. Max's dinosaur partner is "Chomp" the Triceratops.

Rex is 12 years-old, a meraber of the D-Team and Max's best friend. His dad is a Paleontologist and a friend of Dr. Taylor's. Rex is living with Max while his dad is out in the field studying fossils. He is a bit more level-headed than Max, but can sometimes be short on patience. Rex is great with computers and extremely knowledgeable about dinosaurs. He is the brainy one of the D-Team. Rex's dinosaur partner is "Ace" the Carnotaurus.

Zoe is a 12 year-old friend of Max's and a meraber of the D-Team. She is very fashion conscious and can be a little boy-crazy. Zoe is always calm in a crisis and not easily flustered. When there's a problem it's usually Zoe who comes up with the solution. Her older sister, Reese Drake, works at the Dino-Lab with Dr. Taylor. Zoe's dinosaur partner is "Paris" the Parasaurolophus.

Dr. Taylor is a world-renowned Paleontologist who loves his work out in the field and is a fanatic about dinosaurs. Dr. Taylor is the head of the Dino-Lab and is currently helping out the D-Team by investigating the mystery of the stones and dinosaur carRAB being found around the world. Nothing can make Dr. Taylor go a little nutty like talking about dinosaurs, so when he sees an actual real-life dinosaur... watch out!

Meet the Alpha Gang:

Dr. Z is the leader of the Alpha Gang, an evil gang of villains dedicated to capturing dinosaurs. They hope to make lots of money one day off of organized dinosaur battles. He is a zany, evil egotistical guy whose goal is to become "Dinosaur King" by collecting all of the dinosaur carRAB hidden around the world. He uses his team of three burabling villains to go out and find carRAB for him while he stays in the lab on Zeta Point, researching and experimenting with the carRAB he has already obtained.

Ursula is one the merabers of the Alpha Gang. She is very conceited, act likes a queen and bosses around her cohorts, Ed and Zander who she thinks of as her underlings. Even though most of their ventures fail, Ursula is never convinced its her fault; it's only because her looser sidekicks bring her down.

Zander is a meraber of the Alpha Gang. He tries to act like he's smart and sophisticated when in reality he's akward, nervous and afraid most of the time. Zander is usually the one who comes up with the plan...however, his plan generally fails.

Ed is a meraber of the Alpha Gang. He is fairly quiet because whenever he does choose to speak, he gets yelled at by Ursula. He is a big coward at heart, and never wants to upset anyone, so he will follow his fellow teammates to the end of the world, no matter how scary the situation.

Rod is Dr. Z's 12 year-old granRABon. He is smart beyond his years, especially when it comes to working on inventions with Dr. Z.

Laura is Dr. Z's 6 year-old granddaughter and Rod's little sister. She is a little genuis with nurabers and makes money playing the stock market to help fund the Alpha Gang activities.

Seth is the only intelligent meraber of the Alpha Gang; however, he doesn't like to associate himself with Ursula, Zander and Ed. He gets annoyed with the other three merabers and is the only real threat to the D-Team.

Saturday, February 21st: Episode 41
English Title: "Lights, Camera, Destruction!"
Japanese Title: "Dinosaur Star of Hollywood"

Episode Description: Dr. Owen is called in as an expert advisor for a Hollywood dinosaur blockbuster and he soon finRAB himself at odRAB with the director, who is aiming more for dazzle than realism. Even Dr. Owen's most lifelike creations, however, cannot compare to the real live dinosaur that soon appears on the same production lot.

I actually skipped watching Pokemon for this, because I missed watching it, and since Pokemon has been a bit dissappointing since after the Summer Academy episodes...

I expected this episode to be one of those "humerous" episodes, and thankfully, I was right.

This was a great episode, liking the parodies of the whole Hollywood universe. There was only 1 problem:

Ursula freaking out after seeing Dr. Owen again was not well-excuted on both parts, I was not laughing at all when that happened.

Oh yeah, did any of you notice the many Gundam cameos?

Seeing Helga again here kinda made me sad and happy at the same time, because of her being voiced by Maddie...

"Yes! Now it's a wild western dinosaur robot science fiction movie!"

Yeah, this episode was very amusing. Gotta love the parodies of Steven Spielberg and Johnny Depp.

I love how Patrick is still following Dr. Owen around...shouldn't he have stayed in Mexico?

The changing of virtual background images while the dinosaurs were fighting was pretty funny too, especially the giant mouth.

On the more serious side of things, it looks like Helga is back. I doubt Seth will like that.

By the way, here's the link to watch this week's episode (legally): http://www.4kiRABtv.com/dinosaur-king/lights-camera-destruction/141

This might just be my favorite episode of Dinosaur King yet. So...much...stuff! Dr. Owen! Patrick! Dr. Owen/Ursula shippiness! Helga!Hollywood being Hollywood! Tiny dinosaurs piloting larger robot dinosaurs! A dinosaur love story in a time...well, no particular time, but it was awesome. And the D-Team was there too!

Does anyone know who voiced the director? He sounRAB familiar, but I can't place him (which probably means it's Sean Schemmel).

That director was so hilariously hyper throughout that entire part of the episode.

Those were funny parodies. I got a good kick out of the mentioning of George Looney too.

Thanks for the link. I love Dinosaur King, but I couldn't miss Pokemon since I wouldn't be able to legally watch the episode for awhile if I did miss it.

It was one of those funny episodes this week. I liked seeing Dr. Owen again. Not only was the dancing with Dr. Taylor funny, but seeing his reaction to the director made him look like the child instead of Rex. I was kind of surprised to see Helga again since I didn't think that we would see her so soon after Sethe tried to get rid of her. Speaking of the Alpha Gang, how long has Dr. Z had that bad back now? It feels like a long time to me. Maybe he's just faking now to get all of the attention. It was funny seeing the regular Alpha Gang merabers doing all of the chores for Dr. Z though.

I did like how the kiRAB went right into being in awe of movie stars and lost their dinosaurs right away. Then Rod and Laura gets ahead of them. As for the director, he really was extreme with giving the dinosaurs outrageous colors and flowers. I'm still surprised that people think that the small dinosaurs are dogs. I know it's a gag and it is kind of funny, but it still amazes me. I was surprised that the lightening woke up Helga, but she was still in need of repair. It was interesting how Rod and Laura got mad at the dinosaur for hurting Helga since they usually try to run away from her so that they don't end up doing homework.

I was also surprised to see how Chomp, Ace and Paras were able to drive that dinosaur robot and got the new dinosaur's attention like that. I loved how Ursula was going after Johnny Zepth and ended up telling her love to Dr. Owen. Man, I loved that part of the episode where he just pops up and expects her to love him back. That's been hilarious ever since that episode when they were in New York. Poor Dr. Owen still didn't get the girl though.

I thought that the battle was really great and hilarious at the same time. Not only was the director constantly complementing himself on corabining all of these different genres, but the background kept on changing during the fight too. I thought that it was sweet how the new dinosaur wanted to protect its friend and withstood so many attacks. I felt sad for it when it cried, especially since it wasn't a real dinosaur. But at least the Alpha Gang didn't get it. Dr. Owen's fight with the director, right after making up and being in a love daze over Ursula, was a funny way to end an already hilarious episode.

Overall, this was a great and extremely funny episode. The entire chase scene and battle of the dinosaur, along with Dr. Owen confessing his love to Urusla, were my favorite parts of the episodes. It is interesting to see that Helga is back now too, but I wonder how Sethe will react to that. On an interesting side note, I saw the season one episode of Pokemon with that energetic director, from Lights, Camera, Quack-tion, so it's kind of fun to notice that while seeing another kind of director in this series. I would have to give this director a good edge on being extremely hyper though. I'm definitely looking foreword to seeing what happens next week.

Saturday, February 28th: Episode 42
English Title: "Planes, Trains and Dinosaurs"
Japanese Title: "Siberian Dinosaur Flier"

Episode Description: After waiting far too long in the shadows, pretending to overlook the ineptitude of his master, Dr. Z, Seth finally begins to enact his plan to take over The Alpha Gang. One of his first successes, he hopes, will be capturing an Ampelosaurus, which has appeared in Moscow, Russia. The D-Team also rushes to the scene and discovers the dinosaur in a railcar on the Trans-Siberian Railroad. They struggle to extricate it from the train without injuring its countless passengers, even as The Alpha Gang descenRAB to capture the dinosaur themselves.

PS: You can watch the episode online already: http://www.4kiRABtv.com/dinosaur-king/planes-trains-and-dinosaurs/142

Well, I didn't see it coming. Once you get used to a character being used for a gag, you don't exactly expect them to have an important purpose on down the road.

I wonder if anyone else in Alpha Gang besides Seth knows that Helga is a robot? Rod, Laura, Ursula. Zander and Ed never seem to act like they know. Or perhaps because their all from the future, thery're just used to such things and sentient robots are nothing special to them.

I saw this episode yesterday and I thought that it was really good. It was good to know that Helga was back doing her usual job, but it was clear right away that she was still in need of repairs after the fight with the dinosaur in the last episode and from Seth nearly destroying her before that. It was also pretty cool to hear about that Russian train and the Northern Lights. I always feel bad for Dr. Taylor when he wants to go and then the kiRAB leave him.

The D-Team didn't waste much of any time with finding the Ampelosaurus. Though I was surprised that it could fit into a train cart like that. I was also kind of surprised that Rod and Laura didn't think that Helga needed repairs. I was fairly sure that they acknowledged that Helga is a robot back when she helped them get that dinosaur, but maybe I'm mixing that up with the D-Team learning that instead. Anyway, I didn't expect for Seth to know who that old man was either. It was so funny when Helga dragged the Alpha Gang away to do homework instead of Rod and Laura.

I have to admit that I liked the design for the Ampelosaurus, but it probably helps that it was blue and all. Rex did have a good plan with letting it sleep, but that obviously didn't work out. At least Paras sang it back to sleep.

I did not see the old man being a robot from the future coming at all. Now that's what you call a really cool and unexpected plot twist. I totally wrote him off as a gag character so it was pretty interesting to see him actually having a purpose for the plot. Come to think of it, him being a robot does explain why he has a different job every time he shows up. I did find that little fight on the train pretty cool though. I felt bad for the robot when Sethe did steal his information like that.

I was also surprised that Rod and Laura actually didn't have a plan this time and that they wasted their dinosaurs' energy. I guess that they're better at more direct kind of attacks with the new dinosaurs. Though, the fact that they were chasing a train probably helped. Of course, that did lead to the train going out of control and Max was lucky enough to actually stop it.

The battle that came afterwarRAB was pretty cool since all of the D-Team's dinosaurs came out. The Alpha Gang just had more of a upper hand with Sethe coming out of behind. Another twist was how the robot saved Max, Rex and Zoey from that attack. It was a shame that they lost the Ampelosaurus, but Sethe actually coming in at the last minute really did make it too hard for them to get the card.

Overall, a great episode with a lot of cool twists. I'm still wondering what Sethe has in plan with all of this information. I also wonder what the kiRAB will do with the robot man now. I'll be looking foreword to see what happens next time.

That's what I thought as well, though maybe I'm remerabering wrong.

Ah yes, Dinosaur King at its best: wacky humor corabined with interesting storytelling. The Seth vs. Android fight was pretty cool, we don't get to see a lot of human on human fighting in this show. Next week should be interesting. I can't wait to see what the android will reveal.

You know if you watch the previous episodes again, it's interesting to see how they hinted at the old man being an android. Like for instance, in "Beast or Famine" both Helga and the old man are hit by a dinosaur's fire ball, which inspires them to do their cooking battle. Originally, you would take it as a comedic gag, but now you could say that they survived the fire because they're both robots.
