The CW4Kids Talkback: Chaotic: Secrets of the Lost City (Spoilers)

Kiru looks too much like Chaor, the creators should have thought up some designs that were a little more original than this. Also, Vlar looks lind of like Maxxor, I'm not feeling these cards or characters at all.

I don't know, I'm still not sold on this.....

The whole ancestor storyline containing characters that bear the same resemblance has been done before, I don't see it being done well here. I will give it a chance though, I am a Chaotic fan afterall.

Episode 7: Loser's Circle
Original Airdate: February 6th, 2010
Episode Description: Kaz decides to settle some old Chaotic scores by playing a series of grudge matches with his Ancient Creature scans. But his friends worry that he may accidentally reveal their secret portal to the past. Kaz’s rematch marathon is super-successful until he challenges the sinister Sam Shady, who has a secret of his own!

Real life Chaotic Writer/Producer Sam Murakami (aka Sam Shady) continues to do his own voice for his cartoon counter-part. At least they kept his lines to the bare minimum...(sorry Sammy).:p

But anyway. The trip to the past this episode was much more intresting than the drome battles (although it was interesting to see Herculeon's crazy blue hair style in the new animation). We get to see the Mipedian's land before it became a desert and find out why and who turned it into one. For some reason the Danian vs Mipedian hive battle reminded me of some of the space battles in Star Wars!

Well, things are really getting interesting. I'm betting there's more to Vlar than it seems. Remember, he did keep his promise to return Tom's scanner as well as save him from Kaal's guards. He did say he felt the other Overworlders didn't consider him one of them, so he feels he should be an outcast. I guess we now know why Najarin was hasty to allow players to scan him. If those players learned the secret of Dranikus Threshold, they could use Najarin's memories from their scans to alter the past. Hopefully, Tom won't break his word when he got his scan. As for today's episode, interesting that Kaz decided to take advantage of his new/old scans and get payback against players that beat him (I wonder if that player who he fought in 'Fire Fight' was on the list). I didn't expect Sam Shady to be as devious as Klay and Krystella (of course, the only major role I saw him in was when he was Tom's first Chaotic opponent). Tom and the others had better be more careful when porting into Ancient Perim or other players will be going there as well. Hey, I just had a horrible thought. Remember that before the final battle with the M'arillains, Phelphor, the M'arillian that started the war cowardly ran away? I'm sure he didn't retreat with the others after A'unne was defeated. What if he learns about the portal into the past and uses it himself? He could rewrite Perim history! Anyway, interesting to learn about why the Mipedian's territory turned into a desert and the reason behind the Mipedian/Danian feud. What I find ironic is that I think it was because of Sarah and Peyton that their favorite tribes met and became enemies!

He is. He actually appears a few more times. Kaz goes to him for help in "Earth to Kaz" and he refuses because if Kaz can't return to Chaotic that is one less player he has to worry about. That was the 1st episode Sam Murakami did the voice for his character. I told him he should have helped Kaz, but he assured me in "real life" he would have.

Personally, I think they wanted to create an episode that showed off-line play in such a way as to not make it seem boring. So they "spiced" it up a bit with a few "drome-battle like" action scenes for good measure.

That's what I thought when they showed the drome battle action scenes during the battle. Though, it still came off as a bit boring to me. I was actually expecting Peyton's adventure to turn out differently. I thought that all of his friends wouldn't believe after he finished and then someone from the agency walking right by them to prove that he was telling the truth. Once the ninja fight scene came in, I was sure that it was something he made up. Being a entry for a fan-fiction contest made more sense, especially considering how many holes there were in Peyton's story.

This episode was okay since it did focus on Chaotic in the real world. I still think that it would be cool if somehow they did have the game/adventures in the real world similar to that dream episode Kaz had in season one. The idea of the creatures having fights with each other in the real world like they did last season sounds really cool to me.

This reminded me of a Yu-Gi-Oh episode. Although, the girl agent (don't remember her name) wasn't any type of cheerleader and just used facial expressions. Since I don't know much about the real game, I was sorta surprised, but the ninja's gave it away.

The preview though sorta gave me the idea of "What in the World is Talking About?"
